Oh Luella…

Allow me to mourn for the fashion industry’s loss. Our beloved British designer, Luella Bartley became the latest fashion victim of recession.

Luella announced last week that her label will cease trading as she has lost her financial backing. This is a real disappointment as Luella has progressed so well and she won the Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2008.

Luella’s latest Spring 2010 collection. How lovely! I think it means we won’t be able to get our hands on these collection *sob sob*

Luella is currently looking for new financial backer, hopefully (I do pray hard!) Luella can make a comeback.
